Dear President Barack Obama, I am greatful that you were predestined by the Creator to lead us during a perilous era; and if they listen to you armageddon will cease. I have an only child who has a chronic illness, she was denied disability, she has a 17 month old baby, and no income, and denied unemployment. I am trying to
place here on my lease and provide a home for her and my grandbaby through BHA and I am facing hierarchy; to kill and destroy my life and the lives of my children, and I Love All Humanity. I have been on a black list since 1994.

The flat tax worked for Ronald Reagan when he brought us out of the recession of the 80's. Take the leap back to the future and tax equally, uncomplicate the system, reduce the government spending starting with the branch known as the IRS. If we all paid 10% equally there would be no deficit immediately. Presently, most middle class p...ay far more than 10%, most wealthy pay far less than 10%, once you consider the loopholes. The logic with tax incentives for job creators should not allow for them to have record high salaries and bonuses, and not create jobs in the USA. Flat tax works. Poor people buy less, so they pay less. Only politics stops us from flat tax, and it will take a brave and strong leader to make it happen.See More

        Dear President Obama,
Why is it we in this country cannot agree on a simplified tax code that just taxes you on what you make so that all are taxed equally based on income? It would seem simple to me the more you make the more you pay. I do believe though that we as a country will need to suck it up and have this tax be higher for t...he near future to pay for our overspending in the past regardless of who spent it or on what it was spent, that is past and cannot be changed. I can only hope that the partisan bickering in Washington can end and see a simple path to a simpler future.
One more thing though, is there going to be cuts to foreign aid to help balance the budget? One would only hope that we can take care of our own first.
        Respectfully,
        David ChaneySee More

I do not envy having you responding to those questions as Mr. Zellharts. There are so many issues and I beleive you have the ability to walk and chew gum . Hang in there forget the polls, there are those that appreciate your ethics and exhausting job.

How about limiting the town halls to one specific subject? Nothing gets accomplished if we try to cure cancer and address everyone's special interests. Limit the discussion to the tax rates and their impact on the deficit. Each of the issues is challenging and complicated enough that it is nearly impossible to cover in a few statements and we will never define a clear solution with generalized opinions that don't address all the inputs and outcomes.

Mr. President! Wouldn't it help with the deficit and help to balance the budget if a new form of corporation was added to the mix? One where the American people would have an option of partnering with the US Government? Especially in energy, banking, and healthcare. The gov. could own no more than 40% and no individual shareholder more than 1%. Don't eliminate the current corp. options, just add a new one.

Why do you not stop the 3 wars and save that money? Why do you not secure the border and protect the American people and stop this country from being a welfare state, especially when we have laws you should be using for immigration?

Cutting government spending to the point where we don't have to borrow would be the most effective way to reduce our huge deficit that you have contributed more to than any other president over the same time in office. The Department of Energy which costs $20 billion per year could be eliminated as they have not done what they were es...tablished to do which was to make the US independent of foreign oil, and now we see gasoline prices approaching $5 per gallon. Why can't the Department of Defense defend us from terrorists and instead we have formed a huge new Department of Homeland Security at great additional cost? There are hundreds of ways we could eliminate unnecessary government spending which would significantly reduce our deficit spending, why don't you talk about these?See More

The transfer of wealth into the hands of the few who control the megacorporations has nothing to do with "shared responsibility," and it will not end as long as "we the people" have no real voice in government. There is no time like the present for you to be the voice of the American people and demonstrate to the world that you believe in the promises made during your campaign and on the great day of your inauguration when so many of us wept for joy.

                          Dear Mr. President,
Recently, 22 senators signed a letter encouraging and supporting you to sign Deferred Action for DREAMers. You have the support from Senators, you have the support of the American people, why have you not signed Deferred Action to end the suffering? Please know that God loves you and that He will guide you through whatever tough situation you find yourself in now or whenever. Just keep praying and do what God wants best for the American people. God bless you and may you have a nice day!!!! :)
P.S- Por favor visita Peru cuando tengas tiempo, esta bien? ;)

Mr. President Obama, Can you please explain why the Iraqi's, Iranian's, Chinese, and Russians can play online poker but the "land of the free" American can not? Can you please explain why the DoJ is wasting tax resources going after an online poker company giving americans a fair service they want instead of actively persuing/investigating other criminals such as the ones responsible for Trillions in bailouts?

Mr. President, let's legalize cancer's cure.
                              DEATHS DUE TO CANNABIS: 0
                              DEATHS DUE TO ALCOHOL: 40,000/year
                              DEATHS DUE TO TOBACCO: 400,000/year
What is hurting us more, the cure to cancer, or the legal drugs.
...The National Cancer Institute says Cannabis is the only plant that naturally makes our bodies preform tumor elimination.

The banks and universities know that people, like me, need them and that there aren't many other viable options. So, I think that affordable adult education should be a priority going forward for your administration. Everyone is either not able or not willing to take on the financial burden of a college education, but training progr...ams for living wage positions would be wildly popular and very stimulative to the economy. Plus, competitively priced public education options could greatly reduce the cost of a private education. An alternative to a public option would be a requirement for private companies to offer training programs that educate people in fields that would typically require a college degree. This is where I think there is opportunity for an ideological overlap as well. Offer tax cuts to companies that invest in these programs. Offering training to people will greatly increase the number of qualified applicants and reduce the financial burden of a higher education.See More
